ESG 데일리, 환경감시일보 김용태 기자 | ESG Daily, Environment Watch Daily Reporter Kim Yong-tae | (사)환경보전대응본부(중앙회장 도선제, 이하 환대본)는 UN제정 53주년 세계환경의 날을 맞아 대한민국 환경 살리기에 공헌한 기업 및 단체 등을 선발해 '2024 대한민국환경공헌대상' 시상식을 지난 15일(토) 오후 2시 서울 여의도 국회의원회관 대회실에서 성대히 개최했다.

On the occasion of World Environment Day, the 53rd anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations, the Environmental Conservation Response Headquarters (Chairman Do Seon-je, hereinafter referred to as Hwan Dae Bon) selected companies and organizations that contributed to saving the environment of the Republic of Korea and held the '2024 Korea Environmental Contribution Awards' awards ceremony. It was held in a grand manner on the 15th (Saturday) at 2 p.m. in the conference room of the National Assembly Hall in Yeouido, Seoul.

지구온난화로 인한 세계 곳곳에 환경파괴의 심각성이 드러나고 세계적으로 환경보전을 위한 ‘2030 U2℃’, ‘2050 탄소중립’을 위한 활동이 절실한 가운데 이번 행사를 통해 ESG실천 국민운동을 선포하며 이에 여러 실천행동 중에 나무심기를 선정하여 글로벌 나무심기 캠페인을 널리 알렸다.

As the seriousness of environmental destruction due to global warming is revealed all over the world and there is an urgent need for activities for '2030 U2℃' and '2050 Carbon Neutrality' for environmental conservation globally, a national movement for ESG practice was declared through this event and various actions were taken accordingly. Tree planting was selected as one of the actions to promote the global tree planting campaign.

시상내용은 의정활동 우수부문 윤상현 국회의원, 의정활동 우수부문 윤건영 국회의원, 의정활동 우수부문 이용선 국회의원, 시정활동 우수부문 강철원 서울특별시정무부시장, 군정활동 우수 이재영 증평군수, 군의정활동 우수부문 이승훈 봉화군의원

The awards were given to National Assembly member Sang-Hyeon Yoon for excellent legislative activities, National Assembly member Kun-Young Yoon for excellent legislative activities, National Assembly member Lee Yong-seon for excellent legislative activities, Vice Mayor of Seoul Metropolitan Government Kang Cheol-won for excellent legislative activities, and Seung-hoon Lee, Bonghwa County Councilman in the category of Outstanding in County Legislative Activities.

환경부장관상 이경우 의장(남북민간교류협의회), 산림청장상 채문기 대표(홍성솔바람테마파크㈜), 김주성 대표(㈜더시온), 김수현 대표(평창별내림계곡캠핑장), 서울시의장장 심종석 대표(㈜아미스글로벌), 홍원경 대표(이스터릴리바이오㈜), 진서연 문화예술인 외 단체상 친환경수처리 부문 신우성((주)아리움) 등 70여 개의 개인 및 기업들 수상 하였다.

Minister of Environment Award Chairman Lee Gyeong-woo (Inter-Korean Civil Exchange Council), Korea Forest Service Minister Award Representative Chae Moon-ki (Hongseong Solbaram Theme Park Co., Ltd.), Representative Kim Joo-seong (The Zion Co., Ltd.), Representative Kim Soo-hyun (Pyeongchang Byeolnaerim Valley Camping Site), Seoul Metropolitan Government Chairman Shim Jong-seok (Amis Co., Ltd.) Representative Global), CEO Hong Won-kyung (Easter Lily Bio Co., Ltd.), Jin Seo-yeon, cultural artist, and group award Shin Woo-sung (Arium Co., Ltd.) in the eco-friendly water treatment category, were awarded to over 70 individuals and companies.

(사)환경보전대응본부는 NGO인 환경감시국민운동본부와 함께 글로벌 나무심기의 일환으로 몽골정부와 현지 조경회사의 협력을 통해 2023년 몽골 셀렝게주에 300만 그루의 나무를 심었으며 2030년까지 1억 그루 나무를 심을 예정이다.

As part of a global tree planting initiative, the Environmental Conservation Response Headquarters, along with the NGO National Movement for Environmental Watch, planted 3 million trees in Selenge Province, Mongolia in 2023 through cooperation with the Mongolian government and a local landscaping company, and will continue to do so by 2030. We plan to plant 100 million trees.

또한 EeT100 캠페인을 통해 100개국 나라에 각 1억그루씩 나무심기 캠페인을 선포하여 글로벌적인 환경보전 활동을 전개해 나가며 이를 위해 미얀마대사를 비롯한 태국, 몽골, 네팔 대사관 등이 참여하여 자리를 빛내었다.

In addition, through the EeT100 campaign, a campaign to plant 100 million trees in each of 100 countries was declared to carry out global environmental conservation activities, and for this purpose, the Ambassador of Myanmar and the embassies of Thailand, Mongolia, and Nepal participated.

행사는 1부, 2부로 나누어져 진행되었는데 1부 식전행사로 이정용탤런트 겸 가수, 정찬미 가수, 지은숙 가수, 황충재 가수의 축하무대가 있었다.

The event was divided into Part 1 and Part 2, and the pre-ceremony part 1 included a congratulatory performance by actor and singer Lee Jeong-yong, singer Jeong Chan-mi, Ji Eun-sook, and Hwang Chung-jae.

환경부장관인 박판제 대회장과 전 배구국가대표였던 장윤창 조직위원장의 인사말로 시작되어 서정열 남도문화연구소 의재단 의장의 ESG실천 국민운동을 선포하였으며, 안상수 전 인천시장의 축사로 이어졌다.

It began with greetings from President Park Pan-je, Minister of Environment, and Organizing Committee Chairman Jang Yoon-chang, former national volleyball team, followed by Seo Jeong-yeol, Chairman of the Namdo Culture Research Institute Ui Foundation, declaring a national movement to implement ESG, and continued with a congratulatory address from former Incheon Mayor Ahn Sang-soo.

이어서 허남식 ESG전문위원의 ESG실천을 위한 제언으로 행동실천 사항을 발표하였으며, 기업들의 ESG실천 사례발표와 정용섭위원장의 나무심기릴레이 캠페인 비전발표 및 EeT 100 캠페인 선포식 및 선포문 전달식을 마지막으로 마쳤다.

Next, ESG expert member Huh Nam-shik presented action points with suggestions for ESG practice, and the event ended with a presentation of ESG practice cases by companies, Chairman Jeong Yong-seop's vision presentation for the Tree Planting Relay Campaign, and the EeT 100 Campaign declaration ceremony and declaration delivery ceremony.

2부행사를 위한 식전행사로 김종훈 국제모델협회장의 구성으로 에코인 한복패션쇼를 시작으로 김영빈 가수, 송규철(무형문화재)외 8인으로 구성된 판소리 공연으로 분위기를 이끌었으며, 어전귀 세계기네스북 기록자외 50여 명으로 구성된 에코인 자전거 봉사단 발대식을 통하여 환경보전에 대한 실천의지를 다졌다.

As a pre-event for the second part of the event, it started with an eco-in hanbok fashion show organized by Kim Jong-hoon, president of the International Model Association, and led the atmosphere with a pansori performance by singer Kim Young-bin, Song Gyu-cheol (intangible cultural asset) and 8 other people, including 50 people in the Guinness Book of World Records. The commitment to environmental conservation was strengthened through the launch ceremony of the Eco-in Bicycle Volunteer Group, which consists of 8 people.

이후 본격적인 환경공헌대상 시상식을 진행하여 특별상, 대상, 최우수상, 우수상 등으로 구분되어 상패 및 상장을 수여했으며, ESG활동과 환경보전활동 및 친환경 제품 개발 등 환경활동 우수자들을 격려하고 위로하는 시간을 가졌다.

Afterwards, a full-fledged environmental contribution award ceremony was held, divided into special awards, grand prizes, first prizes, and excellence awards, and plaques and certificates were awarded, and time was spent to encourage and comfort those who excelled in environmental activities such as ESG activities, environmental conservation activities, and eco-friendly product development.

세계환경의날 기념을 위한 자리에 500여명의 참가객 및 축하객등이 참가하여 ESG실천 및 환경보전활동에 대한 의의를 깊이 생각하고 “Stop Talking, Start Acting” 이란 슬로건 아래 말보다는 행동으로 실천하는 진정한 환경인이 되길 선포하는 시간이었다.

At the event to commemorate World Environment Day, about 500 participants and congratulators participated, thinking deeply about the significance of ESG practices and environmental conservation activities, and under the slogan “Stop Talking, Start Acting”, true environmental people who practice through actions rather than words. It was a time to declare that this would be the case.
